Overview: NJM&rsquo;s Talent Development team is seeking a Senior Talent Development Specialist.&nbsp; This position is based in our West Trenton office and will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of employee development&nbsp; and training solutions.
Responsibilities: <strong>Consultation &amp; Project Management:</strong> <br /> <ul> <li>Collaborates with HR Business Partners and other key stakeholders to identify performance gaps and recommend creative development solutions such as experiential learning, coaching, mentoring, and training</li> <li>Assists with sourcing and selecting vendor partners as needed</li> <li>Applies project management skills to organize resources for all phases of development projects</li> <li>Follows through on implementation, monitors impact, and evaluates results</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Design &amp; Delivery:</strong> <br /> <ul> <li>Designs development solutions to meet organizational needs</li> <li>Analyzes and selects the most appropriate strategy, methodologies, and technologies to maximize the learning experience including training, webinars, eLearning modules, workshops, job aids, etc.</li> <li>Prepares course descriptions, develops communication for participants, and coordinates scheduling</li> <li>Creates exercises and instructional activities that reinforce learning</li> <li>Uses advanced technical skills to design curriculum, leader and participant guides, etc.</li> <li>Delivers learning solutions, including large and small group presentations in the classroom or virtual workshops, soft skills training, lunch &lsquo;n learns, etc.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Evaluation &amp; Data Analysis:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Develops evaluation tools (online and paper-based) to measure participant satisfaction and job-relatedness of training</li> <li>Conducts follow-up surveys and/or interviews with participants and managers to evaluate program impact</li> <li>Tracks enrollment and attendance rates</li> <li>Compiles and analyzes evaluation data; prepares reports for TD management and assists TD management in identifying trends that may impact TD initiatives</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in HR, Training, Organizational Development or related field of study</li> <li>5 years of experience delivering training and presentations for various audiences</li> <li>Knowledge of adult learning techniques, instructional design, facilitation, and consultation</li> <li>Strong organizational and project management skills to meet multiple priorities</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office</li> </ul> <br /> <br /><strong>Preferred Requirements:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Facilitator Certifications (CPLP, DiSC, DDI or similar designations)</li> <li>Experience with employee engagement, performance management, and succession planning</li> <li>Knowledge of Workday Learning or other LMS</li> </ul> <br />
