Overview: Reporting to the Premium Audit Supervisor, the Premium Audit Reviewer is responsible for the quality and timely review of all premium audits, including complex, out-of-state and key accounts, in accordance with company, industry and government rules and regulations.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Verifies accuracy of the audit, enter data received, and refers them to management as needed.</li> <li>Prepare voluntary mail audits by verifying received data, which may include a review of financial records, to determine the final premium.</li> <li>Handles 6 states and key account exposures.</li> <li>Communicates and interacts with incoming and outgoing calls with internal and external customers.</li> <li>Trains new Premium Audit Reviewers, which may include updating the Department&rsquo;s Standard Operating Procedures.</li> <li>May be assigned other duties relating to the Premium Audit Department that will promote their growth and knowledge within the department.</li> <li>Provide office support such as mail distribution and maintaining office supplies for inside and outside staff.</li> <li>Ability to edit and reject audits in Policy Center.</li> <li>Ability to edit audit worksheets in Sharepoint as needed.</li> <li>Track the receipt of incoming audits from Independent Fee Companies.</li> <li>Verifies accuracy of incoming bills from Independent Fee Companies and submits check requests for payment.</li> <li>Assigns audits to Independent Fee Companies as needed in Policy Center, along with t gathering pertinent policy information to be emailed for handling.</li> <li>Process debit and credit memos in the ACE system.</li> <li>Transfer audits between Auditors as needed.</li> <li>Responds to CRIB letters as needed.</li> <li>Monitors 2 department mailboxes for special handling.</li> <li>Compute premium discount percentages for rated with policies.</li> <li>Ability to utilize 5 manuals as reference guides.</li> <li>Prepare and issue monthly work to outside Auditors.</li> <li>Review SSRS reports for Mail Audits to be estimated daily.</li> <li>Complete policy changes for additional classes as needed on final audits.</li> <li>Identity possible SIU cases.</li> <li>Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.</li> <li>May act as a liaison between Premium Audit and contracted independent auditing companies.</li> <li>May participate in system testing for PolicyCenter enhancements.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School diploma</li> <li>Mathematical proficiency is required</li> <li>Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Ability to work in a team and independently</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and must be detail oriented</li> <li>Experience and proficency with Microsoft Office [Word, Excel, and Outlook] required</li> <li>Experience with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) is preferred</li> <li>Professional certifications such as an AINS or AIS are a plus</li> </ul> <br />
