Overview: The Email Marketing Specialist position will manage our direct response marketing strategies across multiple states and product lines. The position will adhere to email marketing best practices for list building and nurturing, service provider integration as well as timely execution of campaigns. This position will also be responsible for developing rigorous testing and optimization for automated and event-triggered campaigns.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Day-to-day email marketing activities including coding and building campaigns, audience segmentation, template creation, form building, testing, configuration and deployment of blast, trigger and campaign journeys</li> <li>Design, implement, and analyze testing strategies for improving email results</li> <li>Develop and monitor KPIs and reports to provide campaign performance analysis, including insights and recommendations for improving results and be responsible for success metrics</li> <li>Ensure all emails follow best practices and are CAN-SPAM compliant</li> <li>Develop and implement list hygiene strategy</li> <li>Aligning Email and digital campaigns to maximize effectiveness</li> <li>Recommending and conducting A/B testing and post-campaign analysis</li> <li>Developing strategic plans to leverage and optimize the use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud</li> <li>Providing detailed analytics and insights to improve overall response, deliverability, open, click and visits to our website, blog, landing pages and digital properties</li> <li>Upgrading of email templates using graphics, personalization and advanced features</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>BA/BS degree in marketing, communications or a related field</li> <li>3+ years of hands-on experience coding, developing and deploying email journeys, automations and campaigns</li> <li>Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or an equivalent tool is required</li> <li>Proficient HTML and inline CSS skills for email required</li> <li>Proficient in SQL preferred</li> <li>Knowledge of DNS, SNDS, DKIM, and sender reputation/score</li> <li>Experience supporting database set up and management</li> <li>Deep understanding of email principles (design, build, and segmentation) and email best practices (deliverability, A/B testing, dynamic content, campaign automation, etc.).</li> <li>Proficiency with data analytics and reporting (Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, Excel)</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills</li> <li>Strong written and verbal and communication skills</li> <li>Strong knowledge of CAN-SPAM compliance</li> </ul>
