The Subpoena Clerk is routinely entrusted with highly confidential information and interacts with requestors and staff on a daily basis in a timely and confidential manner.</p> <p><strong>Hours:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monday-Friday, specific hours are subject to selected start time between 8 am &ndash; 9 am pending supervisory approval</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assisting in coordinating the workflow of subpoenas and other document production requests</li> <li>Reviewing and analyzing incoming subpoenas and document production requests and preparing appropriate responses through review, collection and confirmation of necessary documents and information</li> <li>Communicating and coordinating with other business units</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required</li> <li>Ability to learn and work in various document and claim management systems including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word and Outlook, and to handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing written and verbal communications required</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills required&nbsp;</li> <li>Previous experience in an insurance or legal environment is strongly preferred</li> <li>Strong critical thinking, multi-tasking, problem-solving and decision-making skills</li> <li>Ability to handle multiple deadlines and manage time effectively</li> <li>Prior experience examining legal documentation is preferred</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary: </strong>$37K - $43K annually based on experience</p>
