This position assists with ensuring the Company adheres to regulatory and legal requirements when performing operations. Strong communication and analytical skills and attention to detail are required.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Research property and casualty insurance industry compliance regulations and laws.</li> <li>Assist in the management of the proposed regulatory comments workflow.</li> <li>Perform audits and compliance reviews to evaluate/assess internal operational and procedural compliance.</li> <li>Review, summarize, and distribute quarterly reports on Market Conduct activity in the States the Group conducts business.</li> <li>Assist with compliance meetings, educating employees on regulatory requirements, and compliance reporting.</li> <li>Assist in preparing and reporting on compliance audits, and status of compliance activities to senior management.</li> <li>Support evolving regulatory compliance strategies, policies, and procedures based on new or changed regulations and business priorities.</li> <li>Support the Law and Regulation Department with other general responsibilities and tasks when required, such as complaint handling and special projects when assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).</li> <li>Attention to detail and organized.</li> <li>Results-oriented, able to successfully take ownership, and problem solve. Strong analytical skills.</li> <li>Collaborative, with strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to customer service.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively while producing a high-quality work product.&nbsp;</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (preferred).</li> <li>Minimum 3 years' property casualty insurance industry experience (underwriting strongly preferred) with an understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.<br /><br /><br /></li> </ul> <p>The Salary range for this role is $67,018 - $77,000.
