NJM Insurance Group currently has an opening in our Contact Center for a Claims Information Service Representative who will play an important role in helping to make sure our customers have a positive experience working with us. With a nationally ranked reputation for outstanding customer service and history that spans more than a century, NJM is a leading provider of worker&rsquo;s compensation, automobile, and homeowner&rsquo;s insurance in New Jersey. It is an exciting time to join NJM as we are expanding into other states.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Process telephone reporting of accidents accurately and expeditiously.</li> <li>Answer all calls from internal and external customers immediately, providing accurate information.</li> <li>Transfer calls to the appropriate personnel.</li> <li>Provide authorization to medical providers or escalate authorization requests to appropriate personnel.</li> <li>Complete callbacks in a timely manner, documenting results in computer correspondence.</li> <li>Provide support and back up to other areas in workers&rsquo; compensation claims, complete other tasks as needed.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Previous inbound telephone customer service experience in a call center environment preferred</li> <li>Ability to problem solve and work independently</li> <li>Accuracy and attention to detail</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Strong data entry ability</li> <li>Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred</li> <li>Reliability</li> <li>Insurance experience and knowledge of medical terminology a plus</li> <li>Use of Claimcenter, Policycenter, InContact, One-X Communicator a plus</li> </ul>
