Responsibilities: &bull; Monitor workloads, productivity and quality in order to maximize litigation resources and ensure legal outcomes consistent with NJM litigation strategy.<br />&bull; Utilize litigation reports to track and trend data&nbsp; to proactively identify and resolve PIP issues .<br />&bull; Instruct and counsel team members on new Regulations, as well as new and modified strategies&nbsp; and responsibilities.<br />&bull; Review claims representative&rsquo;s work product for accuracy, thoroughness and conformity with NJM&rsquo;s policies and practices.<br />&bull; Communicate with defense counsel regarding claim specifics and/or legal issues.<br />&bull; Collaborate and communicate cross-departmentally regarding claims and appeals handling related to pending litigation.<br />&bull; Focus on employee development and team efficiency. Provide leadership to assigned staff including regular coaching and feedback, development and performance management in conformity with NJM&rsquo;s policies and practices.<br />&bull; Document ongoing employee performance and conduct employee performance evaluations.
Requirements: &bull; Must have knowledge of PIP Regulations and Statutes<br />&bull; Proven leadership ability<br />&bull; Must be familiar&nbsp; with the&nbsp; Forthright New Jersey No Fault Arbitration Forum<br />&bull; Arbitration experience is a plus<br />&bull; Travel is required to all NJM offices<br />&bull; Must have strong attention to detail and ability to read, analyze and assess data<br />&bull;&nbsp; Exceptional communication (written and verbal), organizational and leadership skills.<br />&bull; Must be open to change and be able to rapidly adapt to new information or unexpected obstacles.<br />&bull; Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently<br />&bull; Must be able to demonstrate strong problem solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions<br />&bull; Ability to multi-task<br />&bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree is a plus but not required<br />&bull; Proficient skills with&nbsp; Microsoft, Word, Excel and Outlook<br />&bull; Working knowledge of all or any of the following is a plus: Guidewire Claim Center, Mitchell Decision Point, OnBase Unity Client, AgilePoint
