Team members are offered a competitive compensation. NJM's Quality Assurance Department is seeking to fill an Auto Damage Appraisal Auditor position. The Auditor will be responsible for identifying and maintaining appraisal quality of auto damage estimates as well as quality assurance measures. The official NJM job title isQ.S. Appraisal Auditor.
Responsibilities: <br /><br /> <ul> <li>In order to prevent future losses in Subrogation, identify and analyze Total Loss Estimates to determine that they are in line with Company guidelines and the figures are correct. Communicate with the shop with any issues and to make any necessary changes.</li> <li>Perform a post audit of Independent Appraisals, using the available resources within their CCC One Portal, and communicate Estimating procedure deviations to the Quality Service Supervisor with details of anomalies.</li> <li>Use estimating background to analyze outgoing subrogation demands that are being disputed for damages by the third party carrier. When necessary, contact appraisal resource such as the shop or Appraiser and provide documentation to the Subrogation Department for support in negotiations with the adverse carrier. Track changes that are unaccepted or unjustly modified. Properly document and report these issues to Quality Service Supervisor.</li> <li>In a timely manner, leverage CCC One Focus to identify and determine which incoming PCC Estimates are in need of attention due to possible estimating irregularities. After review of the Estimate in question, examination of the Images and Audit report, make use of their Estimating program to retrieve and make appropriate changes based on guidelines and best practices. Monitor queue for changes requested to ensure timely follow up by shop</li> <li>Identify, Document and Report common trends to Quality Service and Subrogation departments</li> <li>Serve as a liaison between claim staff and appraisal resources for communicating and upholding quality standards</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Required Qualifications and Experience: </li><li>Must have experience with CCC / Pathways estimating software </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required </li><li>Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a body shop estimator, independent field appraiser or insurance carrier staff appraiser </li><li>Excellent time management, verbal communication and organization skills </li><li>Ability to negotiate with repair facilities and adjust damage appraisals based on variances found </li><li>Current I-CAR courses –ASE certification or other industry technical collision repair training, or, willingness to travel for up to 2 weeks to receive estimating training </li><li>Willingness to participate in on-going training off-site which could include scheduled ride alongs (job shadowing) with staff appraisers, off-site automotive conferences or continuing education courses .
