Overview: NJM Insurance Group&rsquo;s Commercial Lines Department is seeking a Business Process Analyst who supports the business process improvement and technology initiatives for the business unit. This position serves as a liaison within the organization, participating on enterprise initiatives and business unit specific projects, conducting analysis, testing and identifying Business Process Improvement (BPI) opportunities.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Ability to understand NJM&rsquo;s Project Management Lifecycle phases and activities&nbsp;</li> <li>Works collaboratively within cross-functional teams&nbsp;</li> <li>Writes and executes test plans and scenarios in support of technology integration</li> <li>Conducts post-deployment smoke testing activities&nbsp;</li> <li>Performs root cause analysis to determine process or solution deficiencies&nbsp;</li> <li>Implements process changes within the Commercial Lines department</li> <li>Demonstrates practical application of business analytics, analysis, and business process improvement methodologies&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Participates in preparing training documentation and conducting training sessions</li> <li>Maintains departments process flows and ensures completeness of the documentation</li> <li>Provides updates to management and Commercial Lines functional areas that are impacted by new processes</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Understanding of business analysis and business process improvement methodologies required</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree and/or equivalent experience required</li> <li>Knowledge of Commercial Lines, PolicyCenter, or Agency Management systems preferred</li> <li>Solid&nbsp; decision-making and time management skills, as well as the ability to multi-task, while meeting deadlines</li> <li>Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)</li> <li>Solid analytical, problem solving and organizational skills</li> <li>Must be a team player and demonstrate the ability to work in a collaborative environment</li> <li>Knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio</li> </ul>
