Overview: Join a growing organization! Our Human Resources Department is seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong communication, organization, and interpersonal&nbsp;skills to serve as a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the Talent Acquisition (Recruitment) function and perform other HR administrative tasks as needed.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Collaborate with Recruiters and the Talent Acquisition Leader on recruitment strategy and goals.</li> <li>Source, screen and qualify potential candidates in areas of high volume recruitment.</li> <li>Manage the temporary staffing needs of the organization.</li> <li>Track sourcing productivity metrics and other Talent Acquisition reporting as assigned.</li> <li>Assist Recruiters with special recruitment related projects as needed.</li> <li>Maintain interview rooms with appropriate levels of new hire folders, employment forms, brochures, and general supplies.</li> <li>Provide miscellaneous administrative support including, but not limited to, coordination of job fairs and other recruitment&nbsp;events, preparation for new hire orientations (including the creation and updating of orientation binders), assisting with the scheduling of job interviews, scheduling of assessments and drug screens; scheduling training and meeting rooms, ordering supplies as needed, submission of pre-employment verifications, and other duties as assigned.</li> <li>Serve as a back-up when required to the Human Resources administrative staff members and their work which includes, but is not limited to, preparing files to be sent off-site; assist with HR phone inquiries; verifications; maintenance of the HR mailbox; placement of notices on the company&rsquo;s bulletin boards; complete new employees&rsquo; HR files, including name changes.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Associates or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources or related field strongly preferred</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality</li> <li>1-2 years of previous experience sourcing or interviewing/screening candidates is desirable (we would also consider someone with 3+&nbsp;years of HR&nbsp;Coordinator or Talent Acquisition Coordinator experience)&nbsp;</li> <li>Prior experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) is helpful</li> <li>Proven administrative (typing, data entry, etc.) and analytical (working with spreadsheets and/or doing calculations) skills</li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel&nbsp;required</li> <li>Good organizational and time management skills</li> <li>Ability to effectively prioritize work and multi-task efficiently</li> <li>Must be able to work different schedules as early as 8:00 a.m. and until 5:00 p.m., as needed</li> <li>Strong customer service skills</li> <li>Professional image and demeanor</li> <li>Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred</li> </ul>
