Overview: To be effective in this role, the candidate must be an exceptional creative thinker with a strategic and tactical mindset and the ability to plan, coordinate and execute programs in collaboration with teammates and partners. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develop, design and execute exceptional content that surprises and delights while solving for the identified business need. This includes B2B and B2C for a variety of media &ndash; including brochures, flyers, presentation material, email, landing pages, video content, social media, newsletters and podcasts.</li> <li>Have a strong understanding of digital tools and technology, as well as a commitment to staying informed on trends and new developments in digital media and content creation.</li> <li>Consult with internal client partners on tactics and strategic objectives to inform clear design direction while Identifying meaningful opportunities to innovate.</li> <li>Produce concepts that push past the expected while remaining true to the strategic direction and the brand.</li> <li>Partner with brand and other key stakeholders to ensure programs are delivered in compliance with all applicable policies and guidelines.</li> <li>Accountable for developing and delivering to production schedules and cost estimates. Provide tactical support including proof reading and quality control across marketing material.</li> <li>Bring concepts to life through flawless execution and escalate potential risks or barriers to program managers and help support resolutions.</li> <li>Ensure consistency of voice and design across deliverables.</li> <li>Become a subject matter expert on all things Group Insurance.</li> <li>Demonstrate New York Life values, including teamwork and enterprise view, and drive a high-performance culture</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience.</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years in creative advertising with specific experience developing and executing digital communications, print collateral and general advertising material.</li> <li>Previous experience working in Group Insurance preferred.</li> <li>Proficiency using design and industry tools and applications to produce marketing material (Adobe CC: After Effect, Premiere, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite)</li> <li>General understanding of website development. CMS/HTML/CSS/ UI/UX a plus. Strong knowledge of html coding specifically for email development required.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment while juggling multiple, sometimes competing priorities, and cutting through the clutter to deliver impactful results.</li> <li>Driven, passionate and curious with superior creative instincts and strong design and layout aesthetics while following brand standards.</li> <li>Highly organized, collaborative, innovative, creative, excellent communicator that seeks &lsquo;out of box&rsquo; solutions.</li> <li>Ability to make connections as to how strategies/messaging and tactics work together.</li> <li>An excellent communicator with a positive attitude and stellar listening, analytical problem-solving and storytelling skills.</li> <li>Working knowledge of production technologies and techniques.</li> <li>Tuned in to social media, mobile and emerging technologies as well as design trends.</li> <li>Ability to influence direction and action.</li> <li>Goal oriented and personally accountable, resourceful, self-directed and motivated.</li> <li>Must have a strong online portfolio that demonstrates high-caliber design and writing for digital and print&nbsp;</li> </ul>
