Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Working remotely from one of these metropolitan areas; Santa Rosa, Redding, Red Bluff, Sacramento, Vallejo, or Walnut Creek</li> <li>Perform field ride out, data collection, and design of aerial, underground, and buried fiber optic facilities</li> <li>Take pictures, measurements, document existing facilities, and obtain design information in preparation for OSP network design</li> <li>Perform all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis</li> <li>Evaluate methods used to accomplish the drafting and/or design activities</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>General understanding of aerial construction, including span lengths, pole loading, anchoring, guying, and attachment heights; as well as familiarity with joint use regulations</li> <li>Technical knowledge and understanding of right of way and easements</li> <li>Have prior ARAMIS experience or OSP Design experience on an AT&amp;T fiber project</li> <li>OSP/ISP or Fiber data collection/site walk experience highly preferred</li> <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)</li> </ul> <p><strong><br />NextGeners are Connectors.&nbsp;<br /></strong>We thrive on &lsquo;quality over quantity&rsquo; and put in the work building strong relationships.
