We provide a coordinated community-based speech and language service for children, birth to Junior Kindergarten entry. The program engages in collaborative service delivery with other community agencies such as Early Intervention Services, the Children&rsquo;s Treatment Network and the York-Simcoe Autism Network (YSAN). Flexibility to provide services across York Region and in a variety of settings (e.g., clinic, childcare centres, entry to school programs, virtual) is required.</p> <p><br /><br /></p> <p><strong>Work schedule:</strong></p> <p>The successful candidate will be available work on Monday to Friday.</p> <p>Please note schedules may change due to operational needs.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Carrying a caseload of children under the supervision of Speech Language Pathologists.</li> <li>Providing group and paired therapy.</li> <li>Supporting families on our wait list through phone calls and evening workshops.</li> <li>Home and childcare consultation visits.</li> <li>Providing consultative support to Entry to School Programs offered through YSAN.</li> <li>Position will include supporting children with special needs.</li> <li>Ability to offer services in more than one language is highly preferred.</li> <li>Preparation work - including boardmaker material, parent education material and therapy materials.</li> <li>General office support.</li> <li>Current position may include providing virtual and in-person services.</li> </ul>
