Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The successful candidate will work with Canon Aplio Ultrasound machines.</li> <li>You will bring with you experience in general imaging, obstetrical, vascular, pediatric, small parts and MSK ultrasound, and ability to prioritize work in a collaborative team environment.</li> <li>The onsite Radiologists is available for support through discussions, feedback and continuing education.</li> <li>This position will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations at our Uxbridge site in the following areas: general abdomen/pelvis, intracavitary, small parts, routine/high risk obstetrics, vascular (venous and arterial studies) and musculoskeletal and pediatrics.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Graduate from an accredited Canadian ultrasound program strongly preferred. Other equivalent education will be considered</li> <li>Must be a current member and in good standing with CMRITO</li> <li>Sonography Canada credentialed is preferred (must have PLI- professional liability insurance); ARDMS an asset</li> <li>Commitment to ongoing continuing education to expand current subspecialty skill set</li> <li>A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred coupled with teaching hospital experience.</li> <li>CRVS and/or RVT designations are an asset as are any additional designations, ARDSM (BR), (PS), (RMSKS), NT certification is an asset</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to work independently and as a member of the team</li> <li>Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards</li> <li>Demonstrated a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who we are:</strong></p> <p>Oak Valley Health is one of Ontario&rsquo;s leading community health care organizations and include Markham Stouffville Hospital, Uxbridge Hospital, and our Reactivation Care Centre.
