Responsibilities: <p>With your ability to function independently in our participative self-managed professional environment, you will perform adult cardiac ultrasound exams.</p>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Registration with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).</li> <li>Registration with the American Registration of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS) and CARDUP an asset.</li> <li>Current BCLS.</li> <li>Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in all aspects of adult echocardiography, experience with Paediatrics is a benefit.</li> <li>Experience with Contrast Echo.</li> <li>Demonstrated excellent patient care skills, including inpatients, ED patients and outpatients.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a team.</li> <li>Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards.</li> <li>Ability to meet ECHO standards outlined by Accreditation Canada.</li> <li>Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital-related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Who we are:</strong></p> <p>Oak Valley Health is one of Ontario&rsquo;s leading community health care organizations and include Markham Stouffville Hospital, Uxbridge Hospital, and our Reactivation Care Centre.
