Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The Department of Medicine at MSH is looking for a Locum Tenens Endocrinologist to cover an approximate 1-year leave of absence starting in November 2024.</li> <li>The coverage would include a hospital component and a community endocrinology practice component with the exact arrangement to be determined with the successful applicant.</li> <li>We are open to discussing partial coverage and flexible dates.</li> <li>The hospital component is expected to include 1 day per week at the MSH Diabetes Education Clinic with strong educator support and 1 in 5 weeks of Endocrinology call and consults. Internal medicine coverage is not required.</li> <li>The community endocrinology practice is expected to include 2 days per week of office using the Telus PS Suite EMR.&nbsp;</li> <li>You will be part of a strong Department of Medicine helping to serve one of the fastest growing communities in the GTA.&nbsp;</li> <li>There are opportunities for involvement in teaching and creative professional&nbsp;activities, and the successful applicant may be eligible for a faculty appointment at the University of Toronto.</li> </ul>
