The incumbent will develop and contribute to the Foundation&rsquo;s marketing and communications strategies to serve a variety of audiences.<br /><br /><br /></p> <p><strong>Work schedule:</strong></p> <p>Available to work Monday-Friday, 7.5-hour shifts, with occasional weekend and evening hours. Schedules may change based on operational needs.</p> <p>This position involves some moderate lifting, shipping and handling. Access to a car, and a valid G driver&rsquo;s license is an asset. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage the Foundation&rsquo;s social media and social community management to identify engagement and increase visibility that supports the organization&rsquo;s fundraising objectives.</li> <li>Lead the process for social media content creation including copywriting, graphic/video creation.</li> <li>Identify and support digital and paid advertising opportunities to increase engagement, traffic and increased giving.</li> <li>Lead design for traditional and digital media and create templates/files for fundraising print materials, including collateral, presentations and advertisements.</li> <li>Manage the creation and development of the Foundation website, microsites and support peer-to-peer fundraising sites.</li> <li>Support the optimization of all online integration and increase organizational fluency and utilization of Blackbaud Luminate and its content management system.</li> <li>Report and analyze performance metrics on all digital platforms and assess against goals, including preparing campaign and impact performance summaries and provide recommendations for continual improvement based on results.</li> <li>Coordinate video production and create in-house videos as required. This may include using in-house equipment and software or supporting vendors on project needs.</li> <li>Support the Foundation&rsquo;s ongoing brand and marketing initiatives &ndash; assist with the development of the Foundation&rsquo;s overall marketing strategy and the maintenance of our brand.</li> <li>Assist with the execution of a variety of marketing and communications initiatives and programs including exceptional written communications, project management and organizing timelines and deliverables.</li> <li>Support the team to assist editorial control and oversee the consent and approval process for all marketing and communications materials.</li> <li>Provide training sessions as necessary for media requests, video creation or interviews.</li> <li>Liaise with external creative agencies, designers, vendors and video producers to ensure coordinated effort and alignment of marketing and communications priorities.</li> <li>Assist with maintaining budgets and provide insight and feedback to the Marketing &amp; Communications annual budgets, business plan and timelines to ensure strategic and maximum exposure to support the Foundation&rsquo;s strategic priorities.</li> <li>Maintain knowledge of industry practices and trends in fundraising, digital communications and consumer trends and provide recommendations for future opportunities.</li> <li>Provide support at signature events, larger third-party events and other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>A university degree or college diploma with five-year experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or journalism.</li> <li>Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and with discretion while exercising sound judgment.</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of web programs (Webflow, Luminate) and social media networks including Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), YouTube, LinkedIn and social media management systems (Sprout Social, Planable or Hootsuite).</li> <li>Excellent project management skills with an ability to organize and manage a diverse range of projects and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining high efficiency and thorough attention to detail.</li> <li>Demonstrates personal commitment, acts with integrity, diplomacy and displays an open and trustworthy attitude.
