Please note schedules may change due to operational needs.</p> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p> OPCOM01 &nbsp;Range: $38.06 - $51.02<br />
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>You will evaluate and&nbsp; provide test results to the neurologists, identifying and following through with critical or abnormal results.&nbsp;</li> <li>Your role will include completion of a full medical history, reason for test, preparing the patient, providing instruction to the patient and acquiring the EEG.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Other duties will include maintenance of&nbsp; the equipment, ordering supplies etc.&nbsp; You will demonstrate a team approach to the delivery of care working with other Technologists and Adult/Paediatric Neurologists.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Registered with the Quebec Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists and/or the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists and/or Registered or eligible for registration with the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists</li> <li>A minimum of 1 years of related experience at the RET level</li> <li>Registration as a EMG technologist will be considered an asset</li> <li>Previous experience working with adults and children is mandatory while experience with neonates is an asset</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a team</li> <li>Current BCLS</li> <li>Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards</li> <li>Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required</li> </ul>
