This land is covered by Treaty 13 signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Williams Treaty signed with many Mississauga and Chippewa bands.</p> <p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>You encompass Oak Valley Health&rsquo;s core values and live the words of respect, trust, commitment, compassion and courage</li> <li>You are a patient and/or client centered individual who performs at an exemplary standard</li> <li>You are a team player with excellent communication, critical thinking and prioritization skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong></p> <p>Monday to Friday, day shifts.</p> <p>Primarily onsite at 381 Church St., Markham, Ontario, with some travel as needed to Uxbridge.</p> <p>Possibility to work remote 40%.<br /><br /></p> <p><strong>What we are looking for:</strong></p> <p>The Senior Project Manager is a key role in the Digital Health team, which is located at the Markham site but provides support to all sites of the corporation.&nbsp; Reporting to the Vice President of Digital Health and Chief Information Officer, the Senior Project Manager will oversee and be accountable for the planning, management, and implementation of digital initiatives as Oak Valley Health&nbsp;engages internal and community stakeholders regarding the ongoing modernization of our information technology systems. Working with the project, medical and operations teams, this would include strategies and plans for communication, orientation, training and change adaption.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead and manage digital initiatives from initiation and completion, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and well adopted.</li> <li>Engage with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff, physicians, IT, and other stakeholders to define and ensure alignment with the project objectives, requirements and deliverables.</li> <li>Provide project management and lead teams in planning and implementation of various information technology solutions.</li> <li>Engage with stakeholders to define and implement workflow, process and system changes and ensure impacted users &nbsp;successfully transition from the current state to the future state of the information technology system implementation.</li> <li>Manage risk and mitigating strategies.</li> <li>Support project sponsors and leaders on effective sponsorship and change leadership.</li> <li>Ensure patient safety and end-user impact are considered when implementing workflow and process changes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide progress reporting and presentations to the leadership, sponsoring committee and others as appropriate.</li> <li>Continuously scan the environment for ideas, best practices and emerging trends linked to managing change.</li> <li>Prepare cost estimates, business cases and cost-benefit analyses for project and budget planning purposes.</li> <li>Develop and implement/disseminate the communication/marketing, training, and change management plans for the project</li> <li>Maintain project documentation repositories</li> <li>Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in technology, health or related area is required</li> <li>Healthcare sector experience with implementing technical, clinical and business information systems.</li> <li>Demonstrated working knowledge and experience with Meditech or other EMR systems and hospital redevelopment an asset.Minimum 7-10 years&rsquo; experience managing medium to large-scale projects within a multi-site and/or multi-organization context, with at least 3 years in the healthcare sector.</li> <li>PMP Certification required or commit to being certified.</li> <li>Experience planning for major projects including programming, concept development, and implementation.</li> <li>Candidate must have demonstrated ability to build consensus and foster teamwork among a variety of stakeholders.</li> <li>Proficient computing skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications and financial reporting software an asset.</li> <li>Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills required, along with the ability to analyze, negotiate, and solve problems with a continuous improvement mindset in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Previous experience managing multiple projects and demonstrated ability to work effectively within time deadlines.</li> <li>Change management experience.</li> <li>Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards.</li> <li>You encompass Oak Valley Health&rsquo;s core values and live the words of Respect, Trust, Commitment, Compassion and Courage.</li> <li>Ability to work independently or in a team setting.</li> <li>Flexibility with working hours.</li> <li>Demonstrated commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Who we are:</strong></p> <p>Oak Valley Health is one of Ontario&rsquo;s leading community health care organizations and include Markham Stouffville Hospital, Uxbridge Hospital, and our Reactivation Care Centre.
