Overview: To enable medically fragile individuals to remain safely in their own homes through the provision of support services and assistance with activities of daily living.<br /><br /><strong>Hours &amp; Wage</strong> <br />$14.29 per hour <br />On-Call
Responsibilities: 1. To provide the in-home support services necessary for the medically fragile consumer to remain in his or her own home including: housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and transportation for personal and medical appointments, prescription pick up, medication and appointment reminders. <br />2. To assure program accountability and integrity by completing client verification/worker timecard form accurately. <br />3. To provide services to consumers residing in the following counties: Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Oakland and St. Clair. <br />4. Carries out all other duties as assigned.
Requirements: 1. High School diploma/GED required. <br />2. One (1) year of home health aide experience preferred. <br />3. A valid Michigan driver&rsquo;s license, auto insurance and automobile for job related travel. <br />4. Activated cell phone required. <br />5. Yearly TB Test required. <br />6. Must pass background check.
