The Development Coordinator will provide administrative and fundraising support to the Vice President and development team to project manage a wide range of fundraising activities in in support of the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors.&nbsp;<br /><br /></p> <p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong></p> <p>Monday &ndash; Friday and occasional evenings and weekends</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Hiring Range:</strong></p> <p>$48,000-$52,000 plus annual performance incentive and a comprehensive benefits package, including HOOPP.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assists the Vice President and Development team with the daily management of donor prospect activities and works to meet related portfolio and business plan deliverables.</li> <li>Coordinates and arranges meetings with donors, prospects and volunteers.</li> <li>Supports the donor activities that arise from cultivation and stewardship activities.</li> <li>Project manages communications materials for the Development team such as funding proposals, briefing notes, cultivation/solicitation packages, stewardship/impact reports, as well as draft donor correspondence for the development team.</li> <li>Arranges hospital tours, as necessary, with appropriate hospital partners and ensures ongoing engagement and stewardship of hospital leaders who host the tours.</li> <li>Prepares meeting materials, agendas and minutes for fundraising committees, Campaign Cabinet and Governor&rsquo;s Circle/</li> <li>Works with the Development team to support the work of key volunteers and Cabinet members.</li> <li>Participates in and supports monthly Prospect Management Meetings with staff and the Development team.</li> <li>Works with the appropriate teams to coordinate cultivation and stewardship events related to the Leadership &amp; Legacy portfolios.</li> <li>Updates donor and prospect information and run various pipeline reports in Raiser&rsquo;s Edge.</li> <li>Undertakes special research projects to support fundraising activities (as needed).</li> <li>Tracks expenses and budget activities for Leadership &amp; Legacy portfolios.</li> <li>Other related duties as assigned.</li> <li>Works collaboratively with other Foundation departments and models behavior that encourages a mutually supportive team environment that provides exceptional donor service and delivers the highest standards of excellence and ethics in every donor interaction.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Post-secondary education (college minimum) in a related field or combination of comparable skills.</li> <li>Minimum 2 years working in a major gift fundraising environment with preferred exposure to capital campaigns.</li> <li>Strong administrative, research, project management and customer service skills.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a diverse workload, attention to accuracy and details and able to manage multiple deadlines and demands.</li> <li>Advanced computer skills using MS Office suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Previous experience working with Raiser&rsquo;s Edge an asset.</li> <li>Passion, initiative, team-oriented.</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <p><strong>Who we are:</strong></p> <p>Oak Valley Health is one of Ontario&rsquo;s leading community healthcare organizations.&nbsp;Across our two sites (Markham and Uxbridge) and Reactivation Care Centre (RCC), we provide high quality, patient-centred care to more than 468,000 patients each year.
