Responsibilities: <p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deep dive assessments. You will, on a continuing basis, communicate with customers and stakeholders across various departments to develop a detailed understanding of their experience with our product and CPM/SPM in general. You will explore pain points and wishlist items.</li> <li>Map it out. You will develop a roadmap for our product that aligns with the market demand and industry fit. You will consider customer requirements on a micro level as well as the overall product evolution on a macro level.</li> <li>Create a timeframe. You will work across multiple development teams to build out a plan for current applications and features that require a launch date.</li> <li>Own and drive. You will be responsible for an application, tool or feature set. You will: <ul> <li>Ensure alignment with overall platform strategy and longer-term roadmap for our business.</li> <li>Elicit, gather and document requirements.</li> <li>Be the bridge between stakeholders on the business and technical side.</li> <li>Oversee the work in partnership with the Scrum Team.</li> <li>Collaborate with Product Marketing to position the tool in the marketplace.</li> <li>Successfully launch the application, tool or feature set.</li> </ul> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>What you will bring to the team and&nbsp;</strong><strong>Obero</strong><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The experience. You have 1-3 years as a BA overseeing a product, a junior Product Manager or a Product Owner. Ideally, you have exposure to accounting principles, compensation or sales management. Your strengths include: <ul> <li>Translation and documentation. You have the ability to translate business strategy, vision and customer insights into clear product requirements.</li> <li>Logical analysis. You can take complex issues and create an actionable, detailed solution.</li> </ul> </li> <li>The knowledge. You have in-depth knowledge of modern software development methodologies and processes with particular expertise in Agile Scrum. You create user stories as a form of documentation. Ideally, but not required, you are a Certified Scrum Product Owner or Certified Scrum Master.</li> <li>The technical skills. You have hands-on experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server/Visual Studio Team Services, JIRA or Pivotal Tracker. You are an Excel expert.</li> <li>The communication skills. You can have deep technical discussions or high-level vision sharing and strategy planning conversations with stakeholders, partners and team members &ndash; technical or non-technical - at any level. You have exceptional verbal, presentation, diagramming and written communication skills. You are comfortable seeking out C-level executives to initiate conversations.</li> <li>The passion. You are deeply committed to innovative, customer-centric designs.</li> <li>The leadership skills. You can inspire, coach and drive the work of a cross-functional team.
