Overview: Octagon Technology Staffing is looking for an Account Executive to join our MSP client company team in the Fort Lauderdale area! You will have an opportunity to make an impact by generating new business opportunities in the IT industry. You will be engaging new customers through multiple outreach methods, cultivating strong relationships with technology partners, and presenting Information Technology Solutions to "C" level executives. You should be comfortable overcoming objections and closing sales while utilizing creative approaches to find new prospects. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Creatively develop new prospecting techniques and identify new business opportunities</li> <li>Identify contacts in target accounts and conduct strategic calls to set up new client presentation</li> <li>Collaborate and qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities</li> <li>Employ solution selling techniques to identify business and develop customized IT solutions and technical products to solve client business requirements</li> <li>Collaborate with peers and industry partners to bring the best technology solutions to your customers</li> <li>Self-motivation, strong ambition, and interest in directly impacting the business landscape through technology solutions</li> <li>Research current and potential customers to understand their business to educate, strategize, and sell them on the value of working with the organization</li> <li>Ability to demonstrate resiliency in adverse situations</li> <li>Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies</li> <li>Natural curiosity and a desire to learn, grow and develop your sales and technology skillset</li> <li>Passion for relationship building, creative problem&shy;solving, and strong verbal &amp; written communication skills</li> <li>Ability to develop lasting customer relationships</li> <li>Keeps management informed by submitting activity reports such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly &amp; annual territory analyses.
