As the HR Director, you will be crucial in building and maintaining an HR department that will help the company scale to achieve its mission and business objectives. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Director of HR oversees all HR initiatives, systems, tactics, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.</li> <li>This role will support the human factor in the organization by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training, and development.</li> <li>Prepare a comprehensive onboarding checklist: Create a checklist that outlines all the necessary steps for onboarding new employees, including orientation, training, and&nbsp; introductions to key team members.</li> <li>Create a comprehensive compensation plan that will attract, retain, and motivate top talent.</li> <li>Implement functional HRMS and internal databases across all departments and locations, optimizing HR processes for efficiency and accuracy.</li> <li>Oversee and work collectively with management on performance evaluation systems, ensuring a fair and transparent evaluation process.</li> <li>Design and develop company policies and procedures that reflect the organization's commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.</li> <li>Review and update employment contracts and agreements (as needed) to align with our mission and evolving needs.</li> <li>Track key HR metrics such as cost per hire and retention rates that are provided to the Executive Management team to assist in improving our HR strategies.</li> <li>Manage internal communication, including projects, such as job satisfaction surveys, to gauge and enhance employee engagement.</li> <li>Measure the effectiveness of our benefits programs and recommend improvements to support employee well-being.</li> <li>Coordinate and document all employee training and development initiatives, fostering a culture of learning and growth.</li> <li>Identify and prioritize cost optimization initiatives within the HR department.</li> <li>Assess broad cost optimization categories for the HR department &ndash; HR initiative prioritization, vendor management, and HR workforce optimization to help focus on specific,&nbsp;organizationally aligned cost optimization opportunities in conjunction with the Executive Management team.</li> <li>Develop and implement crisis response plan capabilities to better contribute to the organization&rsquo;s navigation of crises locally and abroad as we grow.</li> <li>Capture HR process workflows, dependencies, and workarounds, conduct a business impact analysis, and document the recovery workflow and a plan for return-to-normal for HR.</li> <li>Simplify the process to ease the burden of creating, updating, and maintaining job descriptions for all stakeholders.</li> <li>Turn job descriptions into living documents that managers, HR, and employees find value in.</li> <li>Develop an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) emphasizing the company's commitment to employee growth, education and development.</li> <li>Oversee a comprehensive offboarding checklist including but not limited to accepting the resignation, developing a communication plan, facilitating knowledge transfer, recovering company assets, revoking access to tools, settling final payments, conducting an exit interview, providing benefits information, canceling permissions, arranging for the safe return of business property, maintaining cordial rapport, and creating a positive experience in conjunction with the organization's Management team.</li> <li>Conduct meaningful and confidential exit interview to gather feedback from departing employees about their experience working for the company.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Proven work experience as a Human Resource Manager, Director or in a similar senior HR role, preferably in a fast-paced and innovative environment.</li> <li>Extensive experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including payroll tools.</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and updating compensation and benefits programs.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of labor legislation, with an ability to navigate the complexities of employment laws. Foreign labor exposure is welcome!</li> <li>Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on collaboration, mentorship, and team development.</li> <li>A BS Degree in Human Resources Management or other discipline is required; a Master's Degree in Human Resources is a plus.</li> </ul>
