Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage, organize, and execute numerous engineering projects.</li> <li>Direct project team on a variety of private projects, including roadway construction, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, irrigation systems, water mains, bridges, biogas collection, foundations for steel buildings, and more.&nbsp;It also includes site design for commercial agriculture, including industrial components supporting a sustainable farming facility.</li> <li>Oversee project planning meetings.</li> <li>Perform field verifications, inspections, and measurements.</li> <li>Work closely with document control and field personnel to ensure they have the latest drawings and installation documents.</li> <li>Update drawings.</li> <li>Maintain compliance with permitting, zoning planning, and other officials on project issues.</li> <li>Assume significant responsibility for meeting schedule, budget, and quality goals.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.</li> <li>Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in FL, PR, or able to obtain a license within six months.</li> <li>5-10 years experience in civil engineering.</li> <li>5-10 years experience working on construction job sites.</li> <li>Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team.</li> <li>Good verbal and written skills.</li> <li>Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Suite programs.</li> <li>Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate goals and business objectives. Military Service, preferably combat engineering training experience.</li> <li>Union and non-union labor construction experience.</li> <li>Agriculture and/or sustainable construction experience.</li> <li>Degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, structural, geotechnical, sustainable technology, or other engineering fields.</li> <li>Experience with construction heavy equipment operation, ability to supervise the manager running a concrete batch plant for two phases of this project.</li> <li>Instrumentation, electronics, experience with various sensors, data acquisition, and/or signal processing, including wastewater treatment, biogas instruments, and interpretation.</li> <li>Software experience in LabVIEW, MatLAB, MTS suites, Excel, CAD, Solidworks, DIC, etc.</li> <li>Dynamics background as it pertains to structural or geotechnical earthquake engineering.</li> </ul>
