Content Marketing Manager

<p>Our firm is growing rapidly in Canada and we are in need of a dynamic, experienced and strategic B2B Content Marketer who can build a high impact and integrated branding approach for our firm. This is a new role at Odgers Berndtson and will report to our CMO while working closely with our Marketing Manager.</p>

Overview: <h4>The ideal candidate will be someone who can see the bigger picture, has strong leadership qualities and isn&rsquo;t afraid to build a content strategy from the ground up. You are self-motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented and demonstrate excellent writing skills. You are also great with people and can manage multiple internal clients at once. Key skills and experience should include a combination of:</h4> <ul> <li>A dual-minded approach: you&rsquo;re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be very strategic, sales-focused and process-driven</li> <li>Outstanding corporate communication skills in both verbal and written English</li> <li>Takes initiative and is always one step ahead</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to gain influence and get buy-in</li> <li>Works well under pressure, can set and manage priorities in a multi-task, fast-paced environment</li> <li>Can be flexible to work with ever changing priorities in a high growth and fast-paced environment</li> <li>Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics</li> <li>Project management skills and good attention to detail</li> <li>Past experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)</li> <li>Past experience building audiences either online or offline</li> <li>Experience working in professional services and/or B2B agency experience is an asset</li> <li>Proficiency in MS Office and WordPress or other Content Management Software/3<sup>rd</sup>&nbsp;party tools</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field</li> <li>Bilingualism is also considered an asset</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develop and execute a content marketing strategy to build a global brand that competes with our key competitors</li> <li>Set short-term and long-term marketing and sales goals, and execute content marketing initiatives to achieve targets</li> <li>Create internal and external content with the goal of better integration of our three service channels that increase cross selling and natural opportunities</li> <li>Generate ideas to engage and attract new clients within various sectors and functions</li> <li>Analyze web traffic metrics using Google Analytics for actionable insights to inform content strategy</li> <li>Look for trends in customer feedback and use these insights to optimize content and increase customer engagement</li> <li>Optimizing content based on key SEO principles</li> <li>Advise on the distribution of content through various social media channels</li> <li>Create 1&ndash;2 resources each month for various areas of the business to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics</li> <li>Edit, proofread and improve existing content</li> </ul>
