Overview: Oetiker, Inc was stablished in 1981 in Marlette, MI. Clamp production got underway that same year to service the automotive and industrial applications markets in North America. In 1997, Oetiker built a brand new 70,071 square foot Clamping Technology Center across the street from the original facility, which accomodates both the production and administration operations. Oetiker continues to develop and grow as the Group expands product offerings to provide customers with high-quality engineered connecting solutions.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Represent the voice of the customer</li> <li>Identify and record all non-conformances</li> <li>Recommends disposition of product quality-related issues</li> <li>Conduct process/product audits</li> <li>Lead problem solving/CI teams</li> <li>Review customer quality agreements and customer-specific requirements (drawings)</li> <li>Assist/back-up QA Support</li> <li>Define/update procedures/work instructions</li> <li>Maintain SPC system</li> <li>Review SPC charts</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations</li> <li>Compliance to the Management Manual, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 &amp; ISO 14001 requirements</li> <li>Works with the Quality and Environmental Manager to monitor and document customer scorecards</li> <li>Works with the Quality and Environmental Manager to monitor customer portals for important information and/or changes</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:</strong> <ul> <li>Mandatory - Math skills, Attention to Detail, Inspection/layout Skills, Logic &amp; Reasoning Skills,</li> <li>Preferred - ISO 14000 and IATF 16949 Lead Auditor, Working knowledge of T.O.P.S (8D), Problem Reporting and Resolution, Advanced Product Quality Planning, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments</li> </ul> <strong>Education/Experience:</strong> <ul> <li>High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent</li> <li>Engineering or related degree</li> <li>Prefer a minimum of three (3) years of quality assurance experience</li> </ul>
