Overview: <p>The Business Development / Field Sales Manager&nbsp;performs the following activities: Identify potential uses and sales opportunities for Sargent Tool and private-labelled branded&nbsp;products in existing and new market areas.&nbsp; Uses market research data to identify target customers and develop new business opportunities.&nbsp; Responsibilities include Market Development Activity, Sales to Target, Customer Satisfaction, and Team contribution.</p>

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities<ul><li>Computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Office products and familiarity with Internet access</li><li>Participation in customer Product Development Teams (or equivalent)</li><li>Outreach and awareness activities (educating customers regarding products)</li><li>Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)</li><li>Proven ability to learn</li><li>Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision</li><li>Mechanical aptitude</li><li>Ability to travel domestic & international</li><li>50%+ overnight travel</li></ul>Education / Experience<ul><li>3-5 years’ Outside Sales experience in technical sales</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree</li><li>Experience in hand tool sales a plus</li><li>Fluent English required</li><li>Preferred candidate will be located in central US</li></ul>
