Overview: <p>Responsible for the Management of Quick Connector applications on a global basis, including automotive, industrial,&nbsp;and other relevant market segments. This role demands high level of industrial experience, technical competence, customer orientation and confidence in providing strategical thinking that directly and significantly impact the overall success of the business. Position will work remotely from home office. New York or Michigan&nbsp;area is preferred although open to any location within the United States.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsible for capturing applications and client needs from a technological as well as business perspective</li> <li>Responsible for identification of market trends, market potentials, and the competitive landscape primarily in the automotive&nbsp;market as well as other&nbsp;relevant market segments</li> <li>Responsible for defining application strategy</li> <li>Responsible for managing Oetiker product development and market introduction process (!DEA process)</li> <li>Responsible for the content of go-to-market, campaigns and sales force guidance</li> <li>Responsible for providing application trainings</li> <li>Responsible for the application product portfolio, roadmap, and life cycle management</li> <li>Supports the roll-out of go-to-market campaigns in technical matters</li> <li>Supports knowledge development, consolidation, and distribution</li> <li>Supports Key Account Management&nbsp;team regarding sales activities and the definition of sales targets</li> <li>Supports Regional Sales team regarding sales activities and the definition of sales targets</li> <li>Supports other relevant market segments as secondary target (Medical industry as primary target)</li> <li>Analyzes specific data, KPI&rsquo;s and business drivers to provide timely and insightful understanding of the application specific business economics, results and trends&nbsp;also against budget</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><u><strong>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>Technical aptitude for understanding, organizing, and communicating customer needs and wants (voice of customer)</li> <li>Talented in collaborating effectively across departmental functions</li> <li>International exposure, culturally aware</li> <li>Active listener, coach mentality, able to constructively challenge</li> <li>Required domestic and international travel: &gt;30%</li> </ul> <p><u><strong>Education / Experience</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>3+ years experience in product management, product marketing, or technical sales management</li> <li>Degree in Engineering, additional business education would be a plus</li> <li>Affluent knowledge and experience from the automotive industry and/or industrial industry</li> <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, additional foreign language would be a plus</li> </ul>
