Overview: <br />Responsible for all procedures, standards, and forms that define global tooling design, maintenance, and improvement.
Responsibilities: <br /><br /> <ul> <li>Maintain global design guidelines (materials, heat treatments, coatings, clearances, tolerance fields, etc.)</li> <li>Coordinate global network of tool design responsibilities</li> <li>Define best practices for manufacturing methods</li> <li>Support CAM software/system standardization</li> <li>Maintain Tool Maintenance Work Instructions</li> <li>Define&nbsp;and monitor&nbsp;Key Spare Parts</li> <li>Support tooling issues, implementations, and improvements</li> <li>Support global capital budget planning process</li> <li>Keep up to date on the latest advancements in tooling technology</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience</li> <li>Excellent leadership skills within a matrix organization</li> <li>Ability to identify and solve complex problems</li> <li>Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)</li> <li>Fluent in spoken and written English, second language preferred</li> <li>Excellent project management skills</li> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of tooling design and manufacturing practices</li> <li>Knowledge of general machining practices (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic)</li> <li>Ability to proficiently use Microsoft productivity software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)</li> <li>Ability to travel internationally</li> <li>Ability to work with the highest levels of integrity and compliance</li> </ul>
