Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Operates automatic screw machines to produce quick-connect bodies at a determined production rate while maintaining quality.</li> <li>Maintains a clean and safe work area.</li> <li>Operates/manages multiple automatic screw machines.</li> <li>Complete in-process inspections using gages provided and following control plan.</li> <li>Follows &ldquo;3-Container System&rdquo; procedure to ensure parts are conforming to print.&nbsp;</li> <li>Document appropriate information on downtime sheets and in grind log.</li> <li>Maintains production goals.</li> <li>Communicate from shift to shift on machine conditions.</li> <li>Notifies Production Supervisor of any defective condition or non-conformities.</li> <li>Make tool changes and proper tool adjustments.</li> <li>Maintain all operator preventative maintenance on machines per schedules.</li> <li>Inspect and sorts as needed.</li> <li>Processes chips in chip system.</li> <li>Conduct bar stamping as needed.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <section id="st-qualifications" class="job-section"> <div class="wysiwyg"> <p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledge of automatic screw machines and strong mechanical ability.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, etc.</p> </li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong><u>Education/</u></strong><strong><u>Experience:<br /><br /></u></strong></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)</li> <li>Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience operating automatic screw machines</li> <li>Strong knowledge of gages and basic computer skills are strongly preferred</li> </ul> </div> </section> <section id="st-additionalInformation" class="job-section"> <div> <h2 class="title">Additional Information</h2> </div> <div class="wysiwyg"> <p>This is a 1st shift position.
