Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain all forecasting (short term and long term) for all product groups sold and/or produced in the Americas. Identify, develop, and lead local entity Demand Forecasters to ensure demand can be fulfilled in a timely manner.</li> <li>Actively develop and maintain monthly Sales and Operations planning process (S&amp;OP) by providing forecast information for upcoming 12-60 months (minimum) into the future for global production capacity planning.</li> <li>As integral owner of the S&amp;OP process, contribute to defining the optimum inventory levels of production and inter-company purchased items to ensure availability for customer demand while minimizing costs of such inventory (FG DIO targets).</li> <li>Conduct market data research and collaborate with Sales and Marketing team to create statistical forecasts ensuring solid production planning and supply chain execution for each entity in the Americas.</li> <li>Provide monthly updates to Sales Team detailing expected and actual sales performance.</li> <li>Supervise multi location team to review data integrity of ERP systems pertaining to finished goods, work-in-process, raw material, lot sizes, min/max and safety stocks for each product group.</li> <li>Ensure up-to-date processes, procedures and work instructions are maintained.</li> <li>Maintain forecast accuracy and bias, KPIs ensuring they meet requirements.</li> <li>Participate in and support Continuous Improvement and OPS (Oetiker Production System) activities to help streamline processes and improve efficiencies.</li> <li>Provide support to other departments as necessary.</li> </ul>
