Overview: Research and Development of products, processes and technologies in the field of electro-mechanical hand tools for mission-critical connecting technologies. Under the lead of the Project Manager and as part of the global project team, the role drives relevant development activities with the ultimate goal to deliver innovative products and solutions to our global customers.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Designing and developing new mechanical or electro-mechanical hand tools (Design &amp; Industrialization) while meeting quality, cost and time (QCT) deliverables.</li> <li>Leading and coordinating individual engineering activities by applying agile project management methodologies and utilization of latest collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Teams)</li> <li>Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional project team, suppliers and customers.</li> <li>Deploying state-of-the-art engineering (e.g. Design for Six Sigma) and technical risk management (e.g. FMEA) tools.</li> <li>Defining technical requirements and tracks fulfillment. Lives Zero Defect mentality by focusing on robust and reliable products and processes.</li> <li>Running feasibility studies and initiates and support related prototype manufacturing</li> <li>Planning and initiating verification activities together with Test Center.</li> <li>Supporting the group by in life management activities.</li> </ul> <br /> <p>Depending on your&nbsp;<strong>engineering&nbsp;specialization</strong>, responsibilities may also include: :</p> <ul> <li><strong>Product Design:&nbsp;</strong>Creating concepts and feasibility studies, detail drawings, assembly drawings, production documents, product documentation.</li> <li><strong>Process Design:</strong>&nbsp;Developing robust (repeatable &amp; reproducible) manufacturing processes. Supervising assembly of production machines/tools and ensuring smooth hand-over to global engineering.</li> <li><strong>Testing:</strong>&nbsp;Executing feasibility, verification and validation tests. Consolidating and evaluating test results. Developing &amp; continuous improving test equipment and global procedures.</li> <li><strong>Mechatronic</strong>: Developing innovative mechatronic products and automated manufacturing processes.&nbsp;</li> </ul>

Affinity to electro-mechanical products</li> <li>Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English</li> <li>Experienced in Quality Systems such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001</li> <li><strong>Mechanics</strong>: 3D-CAD experience, preferably SolidWorks</li> <li><strong>Mechatronics</strong>: Electrical circuits (PCB), Automation (PLC programming), Product Test&nbsp;Software (Labview)</li> </ul>
