Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Packages &amp; labels automotive parts - wraps, ties, or places material in envelopes, boxes, or other containers</li> <li>Seals cartons, prints labels from a database &amp; palletizes parts</li> <li>Stages shipments - banding and/or shrink-wrapping pallets to be shipped, pushing/pulling pallets</li> <li>Enters &amp; sends ASNs (Advanced Shipping Notifications) using EDI software</li> <li>Controls inventory - rotating pallets/cartons (oldest parts used first)</li> <li>Actively supports continuous improvement within Logistic Department</li> <li>Prepares automotive shipments (packaging, labeling &amp; palletizing) accurately &amp; efficiently, using customer requirements.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of email, inventory, Process Manager and Syteline for shipping information required</li> <li>Attention to detail and ability to adapt to change is required</li> <li>Must be able to work with minimal supervision</li> <li>Able to communicate effectively</li> <li>Basic math skills</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Education/Experience:</strong><br /><br /></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required</li> <li>6 months to 1 year of shipping experience required</li> <li>No industry&nbsp;experience required</li> </ul>
