It is a revolutionary time here as we bring all ownership of IT infrastructure and expertise in-house. As a Scrum Master, you will be a leader in methodologies, practices, and people. You will play a key role in educating the organization and ensuring we are implementing sustainable processes and improvements. This is a chance to take ownership of high-quality product delivery, resolving issues in a team, and quality standards.</p> <p dir="DEFAULT">&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>Who you'll work with</strong>&nbsp;</h2> <p dir="LTR">You will be part of a collaborative and innovative team, dedicated to introducing a strengthened technology foundation across the organization. This is a nimble team, continuously learning through experimentation, research, and professional development opportunities.</p>
Responsibilities: <h2><strong>What you'll do</strong></h2> <p dir="LTR"><strong><u>Project management.</u></strong> You will:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate and facilitate development teams using Scrum Agile methodology for new product development and Lean Kanban methodology for operations.</li> <li>Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize the Product Backlog in order of business value.</li> <li>Facilitate end-to-end scoping and estimation.</li> <li>Undertake story mapping, plan sprints and release, conduct daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and demos.</li> <li>Document and maintain releases, features, user stories, tasks, bugs, and defects in the agile project management software solution.</li> </ul> <p dir="LTR"><strong><u>Scrum adoption.</u></strong> You will:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and coach the organization, from junior employees to stakeholders, to understand and enact Scrum and empirical product development.</li> <li>Identify areas for improvement and increase the productivity of the Scrum Team.</li> <li>Identify, manage and resolve any risks, issues, and blockers.</li> <li>Work with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.</li> </ul> <p dir="LTR"><strong><u>Coach.</u></strong> You will:</p> <ul> <li>Manage up to 3 Scrum Teams at any given period.</li> <li>Support and guide the work of the team, identifying gaps and working with managers.</li> <li>Identify the need for increased resources.</li> <li>Inspire and influence individuals to do their best work.</li> <li>Lead the team to self-organization, cross-functionality, and adoption of a mature Agile delivery across all products and projects.</li> <li>Continuously seek to improve team performance by tracking key metrics.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <h2><strong>What you'll need</strong></h2> <ul> <li>The education. You have an undergraduate degree and Scrum Master certification. Six Sigma / Lean Certification and Canadian Securities Course (CSC) are assets.</li> <li>The experience. You have a minimum 3 years&rsquo;&nbsp; of Agile Scrum experience preferably in a financial institution environment&nbsp; and 5+ years of Project Management experience</li> <li>The knowledge. You have a deep understanding and application of Agile project management tools and methodologies. Familiarity with IT concepts, methodology and vocabulary is an asset</li> <li>The people management. You can influence and inspire the work of a team. You have excellent judgement and proven experience managing priorities, setting deadlines and exceeding client expectations. You can create and follow timelines, deliverables and work plans. You are self-motivated and take ownership of your work and that of your team. You are detail-oriented, organized and analytical. You can innovate solutions to complex problems.</li> <li>The <span class=" WCE1 ">relationship-building</span> experience. You are comfortable working with individuals at any level.
