We need a Senior Consultant who would love to deliver services and using &nbsp;4th generation modelling languages like GAMS and our software platform GridOS in order to assist utilities in planning for the future electrical grid.</p> <p>This role requires an individual with the flexibility to undertake deep technical analysis while focusing on client management, client communication and quality of services.</p> <p><strong>Who are you?</strong></p> <p>You are an ambitious, independent, team-oriented Consultant, who clearly understands client management, and has strong background in power systems planning, operation, state-estimation and optimal control; is familiar with distribution system planning including DERs; familiar with energy markets and especially the transactive energy concept; must know power flow and optimal power flow formulation, analysis and implementation within GAMS/Matlab/CYME/PSSE; familiar with Excel (as a data analysis tool).</p> <p><strong>What&rsquo;s in it for you?</strong></p> <p>Challenges. Responsibilities: <p><strong>What will our new Senior Consultant work on?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Interpret clients&rsquo; requirements, analyze complex power system data, evaluate options, deliver power system study projects including analysis of results, write high-quality project reports, deliver and present the results of analysis with practical recommendations to Clients</li> <li>Use computer modeling techniques and expertise to assess electric distribution system adequacy and to identify the optimum size, configuration, and timing of changes.</li> <li>Maintain effective communication with clients&rsquo; technical teams on the projects and be an expert and reference in discussions with clients and partners.</li> <li>Work with Consulting team to expand our consulting practice through the development of innovative solution offerings for clients.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Here&rsquo;s what you bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The education. MSc in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems or relevant experience.</li> <li>The experience. Min 5 &nbsp;years of cumulative experience in power engineering studies and consulting (power systems planning, operation, state-estimation and/or optimal control.) Experience with 4th generation modeling languages like Matlab and GAMS.</li> <li>The knowledge. Strong background in power system analysis software (E.g. CYME, powerfactory, openDSS, etc.) is mandatory.</li> <li>Client management. Experience interacting with internal and external clients.</li> <li>The Excellence. It&rsquo;s important for you to get things done on-time and within the project deadlines.</li> <li>The teamwork. You are self-motivated collaborator that can also work as a successful independent researcher.</li> <li>The communication. You have exceptional written and oral communication skills and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.</li> <li>The innovation.
