Overview: <div>We are seeking to hire an&nbsp;<strong>Operations Analyst&nbsp;</strong>to join an extraordinary team. Our client is an Automotive Aftermarket Company needing an experienced operations talent. Working from the home office in Dallas, you would help drive operational and financial excellence into our 22 (and growing) branch locations. You've got to be a quick study and ready to work hard, as we are planning for significant growth in the coming months and years. This position reports to the Director of Branch Operations. Experience managing a small team is a must.</div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assists in creation of operating plans for branch division.</li> <li>Creates and improves reporting tools used to measure branch efficiency.</li> <li>Tracks financial improvement by monitoring variances from plan.</li> <li>Improves results by analyzing variances, identifying trends and recommending actions.</li> <li>Actively monitors action plans designed to improve branch performance.</li> <li>Works with branch personnel to monitor and improve operational metrics.</li> <li>Focuses on continual process improvement related to all aspects of branch operations.</li> <li>Manages complex data retrieval and analysis through NetSuite (cloud-based ERP).</li> <li>Develops reports in ERP system to assist in analysis and reporting.</li> <li>Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, and recommending actions.</li> <li>Determines progress by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results.</li> <li>Develops automated workflow solutions using cloud-based ERP system to facilitate dissemination of information, compliance and proper follow-up notification.</li> <li>Enjoys not only using technology to solve complex problems but designing and developing the solutions as well.</li> <li>Experience managing a small team of accountants/analysts.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.</li> <li>Advanced Excel User (lookups, nested IF's, pivot tables, macros), Reporting Skills, Financial Skills, Forecasting/Budgeting, Financial Diagnosis, Financial Software familiarity, Analyzing Information, Trend Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Process Improvement, Biased Toward Action.</li> <li>Experience with distribution would be helpful, but is not required.</li> <li>Applicants with NetSuite experience will be highly preferred but experience with any ERP will be very helpful.</li> <li>Personnel Management: 5 years.</li> <li>Operations Management: 5 years.</li> </ul> <div>EOE</div>
