Overview: We have an opportunity in Madison, WI seeking to hire a <strong>Global Manufacturing Services Manager</strong> to join an extraordinary team. Our client is the world leader in bovine genetics, reproduction services, and artificial insemination technologies. Marketing in more than 80 countries around the globe, our client has been at the forefront of animal genetics and technology for over 75 years. The Manufacturing Services Manager will be responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and support of proprietary laboratory equipment in a global production lab setting.&nbsp; Manages and administers the global maintenance program to maximize lifetime asset utilization and meet internal and external customer expectations.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Administer a maintenance program to ensure maximum asset availability for proprietary and supporting lab equipment.</li> <li>Hire, train, and manage a highly effective and engaged maintenance team with a global presence.</li> <li>Continue to drive advancement in the maintenance program to ensure world class performance.</li> <li>Manage relationships with supporting interties and equipment warranties.</li> <li>Participate in new equipment implementation, ensuring that appropriate maintenance and asset reliability steps are taken.</li> <li>Capture, analyze, and interpret data in order to improve maintenance practices and processes.</li> <li>Coordinate with research and development engineers and scientists to improve and ensure asset reliability and improvement.</li> <li>Manage computer maintenance management system to assign work orders, schedule maintenance, and capture and analyze data.</li> <li>Available for international travel in order to support ongoing projects and operations.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required. Degree in engineering discipline is preferred.</li> <li>Minimum of 8 years&rsquo; experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.</li> <li>Thorough understanding of maintenance processes; predictive, preventative, and reliability.</li> <li>CMRP or similar certification preferred.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities.</li> <li>Ability to travel internationally, 10-15% required.</li> </ul>
