Overview: This position is responsible for Network &amp; Security systems at the corporate office and all remote power plant locations. This position works in collaboration with the Global Network &amp; Security team.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Actively protect information technology assets and infrastructure from external or internal threats.</li> <li>Assist in incident response for any breaches, intrusions, or theft.</li> <li>Maintains system documentation and configuration data for regulatory and audit purposes.</li> <li>Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware and other network and system problems.</li> <li>Must possess at any time a valid driver&rsquo;s license with a driving record acceptable to ORMAT&rsquo;s driving safety program.</li> <li>Must be able to operate a vehicle in a safe manner.</li> <li>Must have the ability to travel to other locations up to 50% of the time.</li> <li>When Assigned as a Network &amp; Security Engineer 2/3: <ul> <li>Implement firewall solutions and VPN solutions to properly secure Company&rsquo;s data including firewall configuration changes, and projects requiring security operational support.</li> <li>Monitor systems for any anomalies, proper updating, and patching.</li> <li>Evaluates and performs planning, testing, and implementation of network and security hardware.</li> </ul> </li> <li>When Assigned as a Network &amp; Security Engineer 3: <ul> <li>Recommend best security practices to achieve stated business objectives, advises on risk assumptions for any variances granted, and provides alternatives to achieve desired end results.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <br /><strong>Other Responsibilities:</strong><br /> <br />Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.<br />

Manage/support 2 security systems.</li> <li>2+ years with experience with firewalls, VPN, BGP, MPLS QOS and Wireless Network config.</li> </ul> </li> <li>When Assigned as a Network &amp; Security Engineer 3: <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience in a related field or a combination of work experience and education.
