Overview: The Intern, Data Intelligence is responsible for producing various analysis and reports, reviewing operating data, development and support for the maintenance process within Operations, and to develop a deep understanding of the revenue and costs of operating battery storage assets within various ISO&rsquo;s across the nation. Additional responsibilities include preparing monthly and annual reports for internal stakeholders and external parties. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Analyze great amounts of technical and market data and prepare reports for various teams.</li> <li>Programming with Excel and spreadsheet capabilities.</li> <li>Building and maintaining systems and processes that can translate complex &amp; voluminous energy data into usable business intelligence.</li> <li>Work with other members of the Operations Team and independently on a range of complex administrative and analytical projects and tasks.</li> <li>Communicate effectively on issues and recommend improvements to our processes.</li> <li>In coordination with the various Operations teams, monitor and report on KPIs used to gauge the operational performance of each operating asset.</li> <li>Work independently within an office environment for 20 to 30 hours per week.</li> </ul> <br /> <br />Other Responsibilities<br /> <ul> <li>All other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Working towards a Bachelor's or Associate degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or Science.</li> <li>Ability to understand engineering design drawings, vendor equipment drawings and technical information.</li> <li>Strong computer literacy in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and various other programs.</li> <li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li> </ul> <br /> <br /> <br />Physical Requirements<br /> <ul> <li>The ability to work at a computer and computer monitor for long periods of time and stay alert.</li> <li>Must be able to read, write and speak English at a level which will permit the employee to accurately understand and effectively communicate information to safely and efficiently perform the job duties.</li> <li>Must be able to exercise independent discretion and judgment.</li> <li>Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.</li> </ul> <br />Nearest Major Market: Philadelphia
