Overview: <p><u><strong>Job Summary</strong></u></p> <p>Provide support for financial planning and analysis process for PCG including ownership of reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting of operating expenses, daily sales, and KPI reporting.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><u>Routine reporting&nbsp; (5% )</u></p> <ul> <li>Compile and distribute daily sales reporting for U.S. and Canada vs Budget and Forecast</li> <li>Provide Weekly Flash forecast to corporate</li> <li>Coordinate and upload bi-weekly update to corporate&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><u>Operating expense forecasting and analysis &nbsp;(30%)</u></p> <ul> <li>Work with functional leaders to build annual cost center budgets</li> <li>Work with functional leaders monthly to forecast spending by month and provide recommendations for savings/cuts</li> <li>Work with functional leaders and finance lead on Operations Expense reporting and analysis of monthly actual results vs Budget, Forecast, and Prior Year</li> <li>Upload forecasts into appropriate systems</li> <li>Budget payroll, payroll taxes, and benefits for entire PCG organization&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><u>Month-end close activities&nbsp; (10%)</u></p> <ul> <li>Work with Shared Services to book various month-end entries including allocations and corrections</li> <li>Participate in balance sheet reserve meetings and follow-up on issues as appropriate</li> <li>Participate in monthly P&amp;L closing meeting and provide input on accruals, corrections, and other required entries&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><u>Capital tracking&nbsp; (5%)</u></p> <ul> <li>Work with finance lead to budget and forecast capital spending</li> <li>Work with Shared Services to track open capital projects and make recommendations on closing projects or making appropriate accruals</li> <li>Perform capital post-audits at direction of finance lead&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><u>Monthly and Quarterly Reporting&nbsp; (25%)</u></p> <ul> <li>Prepare monthly scorecards and reporting decks</li> <li>Create, maintain, and pull reports to populate regular KPI reporting</li> <li>Provide other reporting as necessary to support business requirements</li> </ul> <p><u>Assist in maintaining internal controls&nbsp; (5%)</u></p> <ul> <li>Manage AP authority matrix</li> <li>Ensure supported functional leaders understand and adhere to signing limits&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><u>Other projects as assigned&nbsp; (20%)</u></p> <ul> <li>Follows internal controls and company policies set by Pacific Cycle Inc. and Dorel Sports.&nbsp;</li> <li>Contributes to the success of Pacific Cycle Inc. by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.</li> </ul>
