Overview: <p data-darkreader-inline-bgimage="" data-darkreader-inline-bgcolor=""><strong><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Full-time Salary Exempt position that offer competitive wages, full benefits, and 401K. Additional perk available.</span></strong></p> <p>The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the daily functions of receiving, processing, inventory management, and shipping of Dorel Sports products. Leading and coaching employees to meet customer satisfaction while maintaining a floor presence. The Supervisor will coordinate and professionally supervise the operation, oversee inventory management, sure the FIFO process is utilized, maintain quality performance objectives, and assist in cost control programs while meeting safety compliance.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Execute warehouse receiving and shipping operation activities to meet productivity and service goals.</li> <li>Execute operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipment, handling, and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of the warehouse inventory.</li> <li>Maintain floor present for employee engagement and interaction.</li> <li>Communicate with fellow supervisors, managers, and direct reports.</li> <li>Provide effective feedback, training, and oversite of direct reports in areas of standard operating procedures, best practice, and policies.</li> <li>Responsible for managing accurate inventory records and reconciling inventory discrepancies.</li> <li>Manage a safe work environment in accordance with Company and OSHA guidelines</li> <li>Manage performance through coaching, training, feedback, accountability, and performance evaluations.</li> <li>Initiating or suggesting plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.</li> <li>Assume all supervisory responsibilities concerning Human Resource policies and procedures including daily and weekly timesheet maintenance.</li> <li>Assist in interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding new hires.</li> <li>Complete and present performance evaluation to direct reports. </li> <li>Follows internal controls and company policies set by Pacific Cycle Inc. and Dorel Sports. </li> <li>Contributes to the success of Pacific Cycle Inc. by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.</li> <li>Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be legally permitted to work in the United States</li> <li>College degree or equivalent work experience</li> <li>Proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Office)</li> <li>3-5 years previous Supply Chain/Warehouse leadership experience</li> <li>Skilled in verbal and written communication</li> <li>Experience developing and training a team</li> <li>Strong organization and prioritization skills.</li> <li>Consistently demonstrate effective time management: detail-oriented, consistent follow-through and accuracy.</li> <li>Experience in conflict resolution and removing obstacles.</li> <li>Availability to work any shift</li> </ul> <p><strong>Beneficial Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in SAP and/or WM systems</li> <li>Previous forklift experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>Environmental Factors</strong></p> <ul> <li>Exposer to weather and temperatures range from cold to hot</li> <li>Noise level can be moderate to high</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Physical Demands</strong></p> <ul> <li>Standing and walking for extended periods of time.</li> <li>Lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. unassisted</li> <li>Reaching / Stooping / Kneeling / Crouching / Twisting frequently</li> <li>Push/Pull to move boxes of product</li> </ul>
