This position performs fit, finish, and function testing distinguishes a product from A vs B grade condition, and coordinates the disposition of B-grade products. The QA Technician provides timely and effective communication of Quality Assurance activities to the Q.A. Supervisor and partners with the Fulfillment Center management team as needed.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>What you will do</strong></p> <p><strong>Inspection/Investigation of issues:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Receives and inspects incoming products according to AQL sampling and inspection plans to include assembly of bicycles and other products.</li> <li>Performs complete function testing as well as appearance criteria evaluation; reports results and basic report summaries by the supplier</li> <li>to appropriate departments.</li> <li>Conducts investigations of quality issues reported from all sources such as customer service, warranty, and coordinates problem resolution.</li> <li>Performs detailed product inspection and testing as needed to applicable regulations and standards for all product categories. This may include packaging reviews and drop testing and will include the evaluation and testing of all new product development (NPD) and Incoming Quality Control (IQC) quality reports.</li> <li>Follows up to ensure resolution of identified and outstanding Q.A. issues.</li> <li>Performs quality data collection, and report summaries as needed. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Rework/Disposition of Non-Conforming Materials:</li> <li>Assists in disposition, reporting, and managing of rework for any identified non-conforming material found during inspections or notified from another source.</li> <li>Assists in developing rework instructions and verification of rework for quality issues as needed. &nbsp;</li> <li>Returns/In-house damage:</li> <li>Assists the Fulfillment Center on the inspection and determination of the disposition of refused/returned shipments A vs B grade.</li> <li>Assists the Fulfillment Center with inspecting in-house damaged units to determine disposition, repack, or b-grade.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
