Responsibilities: <strong>Position Overview:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>In this role, reporting to the Hospice Administrator, the Assistant Director of Patient Services&nbsp;provides clinical oversight and regulatory guidance for patient care, patient and family education, clinical leadership and management of Hospice staff, and ensures compliance with documentation, IDT meetings and quality initiatives.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>Qualifications:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Registered Nurse (RN) in New York state, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field</li> <li>Two or more years of experience in a leadership role in a Hospice setting</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership ability; ability to lead teams and empower staff</li> <li>Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care a plus</li> <li>Excellent communication and customer service skills; is cooperative and helpful</li> </ul>
