Responsibilities: <strong>Position Overview:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>In this role, reporting to the Hospice Administrator, the Hospice Director provides clinical oversight and regulatory guidance for patient care, patient and family education, clinical leadership and management of Hospice staff, and ensures compliance with documentation, IDT meetings and quality initiatives.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>Qualifications:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Registered Nurse (RN) in New York state, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field</li> <li>Two or more years of experience in a leadership role in a Hospice setting</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership ability; ability to lead teams and empower staff</li> <li>Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care a plus</li> <li>Excellent communication and customer service skills; is cooperative and helpful</li> </ul>
