Responsibilities: <div> <p><strong><u>Key Tasks:</u></strong></p> </div> <ul> <li>Supervises assigned staff members</li> <li>Obtains and records initial assessments, and develops and modifies nursing plans and care priorities</li> <li>Collaborates with other health professionals in the plan of care</li> <li>Monitors and evaluates patient progress and conditions requiring intervention</li> <li>Administers medications and treatments</li> <li>Assists with diagnostics tests and procedures</li> <li>Participates in resident and family education, as well as discharge planning</li> <li>Keeps CCP current</li> <li>Investigates and reports on problem situations</li> <li>Transcribes physician orders</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong><u>Required Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>NYS license as a registered nurse (RN)</li> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing</li> <li>Prior experience in a long term care or short term rehabilitation setting strongly preferred&nbsp;</li> </ul>
