Company Owned location training for Operators is focused on the main content areas of Point of Sales (POS), Back Office System (BOS), safety, customer service, cleaning, fuel inventory control, c-store merchandising strategies and Learning Management System. Training for Dealer locations is currently focused on technical/Point of Sale (POS) and Back Office Systems (BOS) training.</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Facilitate training and provide support that is required for special projects and workshops (remotely using GoToWebinar and at site).</li> <li>Learn the technical operation of all POS systems and back office systems.</li> <li>Completion of Retailer and TM Betterment training</li> <li>Provide support to Training Coordinator to schedule training sessions, support the Learning Management system, and communication with various departments and operators.</li> <li>Provide support to Training Coordinator with the In-class Training program, with the potential to facilitate sessions independently.</li> <li>Regularly communicate with Training Coordinator to ensure consistency in training programs.</li> <li>Communicate effectively and regularly with the ROM/TM&rsquo;s on how proficient the various operators are performing. Additionally, communicate any issues/opportunities that may be observed at the station level.</li> <li>Promote a professional and safe culture.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>2-4 years of training experience</li> <li>Post-secondary education</li> <li>Training in a Retail Fuel Operations environment would be considered an asset</li> <li>Ability to analyze information to develop effective solutions and action plans</li> <li>Highly proficient with Microsoft Office &ndash; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook</li> <li>Demonstrated flexibility and effectiveness with changing environments</li> <li>Ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships</li> <li>Strong independent motivational skills.</li> <li>Must be comfortable with general office environment (prolonged sitting/ eye strain from computer use, deadlines, etc,)</li> <li>Travel may be required.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Please note:<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada at this time.
