As a member of the Trading and Logistics team, you will be working closely with the Deal Entry Business Analyst. You will be assisting with the day-to-day activities that include providing Power BI reports and Power Automate data flows. The Deal Support Analyst Student will also be responsible for administering and enhancing the team SharePoint site and data automation processes. The student will provide overall support to the Trading and Logistics team members for special projects as assigned.&nbsp;</p> </div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Supporting the Commercial Analytics team SharePoint site, Power BI reports and Power Automate data flows.</li> <li>Preparing timely and accurate input of trades for the marketing teams</li> <li>Assisting with subsequent review of trades for compliance purposes</li> <li>Collaborating with the Business Analyst, Trade and Logistics team across the organization to ensure trade deals flow through the system correctly from entry to settlement and assist with daily data management requirements.</li> <li>Administer and enhance the team SharePoint site and associated Power BI reports and data automation processes</li> <li>Complete and support special projects as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>You are available for a 4-month term beginning on or around May 2023.</li> <li>You are currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution working towards a degree in Business or Computer Science with a focus on Business Analytics or a related discipline; the candidate must be in the 3rd or 4th year of their program, with a good standing GPA of 2.9 or above.&nbsp;</li> <li>You have exceptional interpersonal skills and possess natural leadership as demonstrated in academic and/or extracurricular activities.</li> <li>You have highly developed verbal and written communication skills to enable you to thrive in a challenging and exciting work environment</li> <li>You have a high level of attention to detail</li> <li>You are a creative and analytical thinker with some project management skills who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>You have tenacity and an entrepreneurial spirit and are passionate about seeking out win-win solutions.</li> <li>You have strong MS Office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Power BI.</li> <li>You will be part of a global team and must be able to work effectively through a high degree of collaboration and communication through in-person meetings and video conferences.</li> </ul> <p>Please include a cover letter with your application.&nbsp;We thank all candidates in advance for their interest, however only those being considered will be contacted.</p> <p><em>Please note, candidates must be legally able to work in Canada at this time.
