Minimum Starting Salary from: $119,800/year

Overview: As a leader in Parkland&rsquo;s Risk and Control function, you will focus on Internal Audit and support the business in continuing to deliver successfully against its strategy. You will be expected lead the delivery of a portfolio of assurance and advisory projects that elevate and promote effective risk management across Parkland&rsquo;s Canadian, US and International operations.<br /><br />We believe that both our team and the business benefit from the integration of projects, Internal Audit works closely with Enterprise Risk Management, C-SOX and Commercial Assurance. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Reporting to the Director, Risk &amp; Controls oversee delivery of a portfolio of internal audits using internal Parkland staff augmented with co-source service providers</li> <li>Work as One Parkland across 25 diverse countries and help shape our company by supporting Diversity &amp; Inclusion</li> <li>Use Parkland&rsquo;s BOLD behaviours (Build, Own, Lead, Deliver) to provide value back to Parkland and lead team and individual development through mentoring, supervision and development support</li> <li>Ensure teams operate in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors&rsquo; (IIA) International Standards and Parkland&rsquo;s Internal Audit Methodology</li> <li>Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders and advocate for Internal Audit and the ongoing enhancement of Parkland&rsquo;s risk management culture</li> <li>Prepare and present the outcome of the team&rsquo;s work to Parkland&rsquo;s Senior Leadership</li> <li>Listen and respond effectively to organisational feedback and help build a team that prioritizes enhancing Parkland&rsquo;s risk management capability</li> </ul> <br />
Requirements: <ul> <li>Track record in successfully managing Internal Audit teams and projects and overseeing internal audit delivery both as a team manager and individual contributor</li> <li>Desire to work in a high-performing team in an adaptive environment</li> <li>Over 12 years of internal or external auditing experience, with at least 4 years at a manager level</li> <li>A professional designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, CIA, CISA)</li> <li>Ability to build proficient relationships within the team as well as within the business</li> <li>Ability to work effectively with Finance, IT, Legal &amp; Regulatory and Operational teams to deliver a variety of Internal Audit projects</li> <li>Familiarity with Downstream Oil and Gas and Retail / Convenience Store operations an asset</li> <li>Familiarity with business and technology transformation initiatives an asset</li> <li>While travel is not a core requirement at this time, willingness to visit Parkland locations across Canada, US and the Caribbean is an asset.</li> </ul> <br /> <p>Please note:</p> <ul> <li>Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada at this time.
