This includes managing the data lifecycle from ingestion, transformation, to consumption of data for various business groups across the enterprise.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Bring in industry knowledge and experience of building data products and managing data supply chains with design thinking and agile squads. Responsibilities: <p>Managing our team, stakeholders and delivery partners&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Manage a team of data scientists, data visualization, data engineers, data architects, product owners and scrum masters to deliver new features/products with a relentless focus on the actions from data, design thinking, stakeholder engagement and execution to meet desired objectives.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Work closely with the team, and stakeholders to understand specific gaps and opportunities, understand technology trends and competitive intelligence, and establish the priority for near-term and future investment.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Responsible for balancing priorities, defining user stories and requirements, soliciting input on requirements with key business SMEs, defining acceptance criteria and measures of success, and end acceptance of the feature/enhancement.  &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Partnering with IT to lead the Data Community of Practice (CoP) which acts as forum to bring together technology practitioners across Parkland to drive the realization of a shared data roadmap, processes, and infrastructure.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Product development and operations  &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Managing the entire product life cycle: From project intake to production support of data ingestions, data transformations, and analytics that is in production.  &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Solution Development &amp; Execution. Work with the data architects and data engineers to improve ways of working and data quality improvements and test automation opportunities within the data ecosystem. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop rollout plans that support end platform adoption and acceptance including value-based communications and technical education across a variety of user groups.  &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Engage with stakeholders to build alignment in overarching objectives, confidence in the path ahead, solicit feedback, ensure readiness for rollout and acceptance, and hold to account in delivering initiative benefits.  &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Oversee all development projects that include expansion and enhancement of current data products, building and set up of new data products on the cloud data platform.  &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Running the platform and budgets&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>As the Director you will be running an AWS data lake, your role would involve overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of the data lake infrastructure and operations within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment. You would be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective use of AWS services and tools to store, process, and analyze large volumes of data. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>This includes but is not limited to: strategy and planning, infrastructure management, data ingestion and integration, data governance and security, performance monitoring and cost optimization.&nbsp;</li> <li>Budget and resource management: Allocating resources and managing budget to ensure that product development is completed within the budgeted cost. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Champion the Data Roadmap &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Collaborating with our IT partners to develop a comprehensive enterprise data strategy, roadmap and governance model.&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain a pulse on market trends and stakeholder needs to help shape the journey forward, including ongoing roadmap prioritization across key stakeholders. and prioritize the data analytics roadmap. Includes gaining a deep understanding of the data usage, data journey within the business users across the enterprise. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Developing and executing a company's data analytics strategy: This includes identifying new opportunities for growth, analyzing market trends and competitors, and creating and communicating product roadmaps.&nbsp;</li> <li>Developing and transforming the maturity of the DataOps practice. Including setting up of KPIs and SLAs to support various data elements and reports.  &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Prioritizing features: Working with stakeholders to prioritize features and ensuring that products are delivered to market in a timely and effective manner.  &nbsp;</li> <li>Shape business case to support initiative justification, define key success criteria, and secure alignment of key stakeholders across the organization to support critical opportunities.  &nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>BS in Business, Computer Science, IT, or related field strongly preferred and/or 10+ years&rsquo; experience developing data analytics solutions with a user-centric mindset.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>12-15 years&rsquo; experience in building and leading data analytics, data lake program on cloud.  &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>8-10 years&rsquo; experience managing people successfully.  &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated experience championing and successfully deploying significant cross-functional projects that deliver results against the target outcomes -- including defining strategy, requirements, design and executing deliverables.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>10+ years' experience in BI and analytics project/program management roles supporting development of data analytics products and reporting.   &nbsp;</li> <li>2-5 years' experience leading team of Data Scientists with a focus on results and value generation.  &nbsp;</li> <li>Relevant experience in working on projects involving multiple stakeholders including working with agile &amp; waterfall development methodologies. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to analyze new analytics development opportunities and make recommendations for ongoing improvements of existing products.  &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to create innovative strategies across various products and online channels, and to secure buy-in from a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders.  &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in managing relationships with technology, operations, and business members.  &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in setting up data warehouse / data lake on the Cloud.
