Responsibilities: <p><em>Management of the SAP S/4HANA RISE environment providing both technical support and leadership on SAP Basis systems.</em></p> <ul> <li>Implement and maintain the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, training and production), in the case of the RISE model managing SAP Technical Requests.</li> <li>Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance.</li> <li>Monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment on an ongoing basis as well as scheduling and executing the SAP transport system</li> <li>Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly.</li> <li>Maintain SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies.</li> <li>Monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.)</li> </ul> <p><em>Analyze, develop, and maintain data architectures and process models within SAP</em></p> <ul> <li>Defines the SAP environment strategy including defining and documenting client strategy, transport management and provide assessment and validation of SAP sizing</li> <li>Develop and maintain system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces.</li> </ul> <p><em>Manage Users</em></p> <ul> <li>Manage SAP users, authorizations, and profiles.</li> <li>Distribute the online SAP user workload and monitor and manage the SAP background job workload.</li> <li>Configure and manage the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances.</li> <li>Monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.).</li> <li>Perform SAP client administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import client) as required</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><em>Technical Skills and Abilities:</em></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of SAP Basis Administration experience</li> <li>Strong knowledge of SAP Basis administration including system installation, configuration, and maintenance</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of HANA Database administration including system installation, configuration, and maintenance</li> <li>Strong understanding of SAP architecture and integration with other SAP components (BODS , BW and BPC)</li> <li>Hands on experience in SAP on Cloud environments (specifically SAP on AWS)</li> <li>Hands on experience in OS/DB &amp; HANA Migrations</li> <li>Mandatory hands-on experience of leading &amp; executing SAP S/4HANA and Fiori upgrades</li> <li>Working experience in SAP S4HANA &amp; Fiori systems</li> <li>Strong working experience in Installation &amp; Upgrades</li> <li>Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Experience in operating system administration</li> <li>Working experience in Solution Manager and solution manager end to end configuration</li> <li>Early Watch configuration and analysis. Transport Management</li> <li>Working Experience by using SAP best practices in activities like HANA system refresh tasks, Client copies (local client copy, client export, client import)</li> <li>Knowledge and working experience with SAP Systems on DB2 &amp; SQL database</li> <li>Good Technical knowledge on SAP Application Performance Monitoring and Tuning experience</li> </ul> <p><em>Other nice-to-have Skills</em></p> <ul> <li>Should be able Maintain excellent documentation skills while performing production support activities</li> <li>Good Working experience in production support environment</li> <li>Experience in coordinating with multiple teams, including offshore team to successfully implement production release changes</li> <li>Production support experience and Batch monitoring</li> <li>Experience in working with Agile environment</li> <li>Good problem solving &amp; Analytical skills and communication skills</li> <li>Flexible to work in shift environment</li> <li>Ability to handle the pressure during critical production issues</li> </ul> <p><em>Educational Qualifications:</em></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.</li> <li>At least 7 years of experience in SAP Integration, with at least 2 years focused on SAP Integration Suite.</li> <li>SAP Integration Suite certification would be a plus.</li> </ul> <br /> <p>Please note:</p> <ul> <li>Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada at this time.
